Advantages: Fun to drive, fast, great gearbox

Disadvantages: GT3 body kit bottoms out on ramps

After graduating from a 20-y-o 944, I got my 1st, 20-y-o, 911 some years ago. Since then I've had a 993 Cab, a Boxster, and now am back at the 911, with a 996 model Carrera 2 Tip. Supercar in every sense, fun to drive, great Tip gearbox, which I never feel the need to drive in Manual. Overall, just a great car, very powerful, but now also refined, motor (water-cooled, of course), superb road-holding, and a looker. I've got the GT3 body kit on mine, which is also fun EXCEPT when negotiating steeply-inclined multi-storey carparks, or steep road bumps, when it bottoms out with a scrunch .... Overall, a great car.
