Porsche 924

Hi, Only 1 review so far, so here comes another one. I bought my 924 about 1.5 years ago. It's a 1984 luxury model (Turbo rims, leather, electric windows, ...) and I'm totally pleased with it so far! I don't know the history, that's too bad, but until now it was a very good gamble. It had 90000km on the clock, I think original. I had absolutely no problem with it, except the starter which broke, but that's easy (and quite cheap) to replace. According to my mecanic the engine almost runs like new. I must say I regularly go full throttle, about 125 miles an hour (210kms) and it does that with ease, no rising oil temperature, no vibrations, just perfect! ...  Read the complete review

As a sixteen year old chap looking through the classifieds for possible candidates to be my first car, the porsche 924 would always catch my eye. In the end i was given a first car so i didnt need to purchase one. The dream of owning a porsche would have to remain in my head untilthe summer of 2005 when i purchased a 924 from my local car auctions by chance. Unfortunately the rings had gone on the engine of this porsche but as i already knew the market for spares for the 924 was very reachable and i knew a local garage owner who had a donor 924 lying around and i got and engine swap for £450.
