Advantages: Good looking (if done up or they look like a metrocab), Very practicle, You have the option to go off road.

Disadvantages: Running costs are high., Loves the petrol, Over priced, as is not the most well built car.

This isn't my car, its my dads.

We brought it 4 months ago, for about £20,000. It is a 1998 model, in a really dark grey, and tinted windows, it also has the 19" wheels off the 2002 vougue.

Heres my thoughts on her.

She is a stunning 4x4 which is fuly loaded (well almost).

When we first got her, she had to go into land rover to sort out the automatic gear system. The problem was that the gear system wouldn't change from high to low gear ratio settings. The problem was the auto system was jammed and couldn't be change, until Land Rover sorted it.
Another fault is sometimes the rear near side door (sometimes) doesn't lock, so i have to keep checking it to see if its locked.
The Range Rover has to have the air condition filled up soon, as they have to be done every 6 months i think.
Also the rear tailgate toutches the bumper at the back. I don't know why, as it is a 100% straight car. Never been off road ect.

The reason we picked the 4.0 litre over the 4.6 is because the 4.6 has engine problems (said the sales man), saying the 4.6's cylinders were to close together, which meant they head cracked easier.




The things i like about her, apart from the looks are.

Good looks, the size, the space, the Range Rover stereo and the air suspension.

Summary:
