Advantages: trip computer, economical on fuel, tax and insurance
Disadvantages: when you have a crash the car crumples but does save ur life.
I didnt have the one that was in the picture i had the new shape one 2006 16v expression. Mine was a grey colour 5 door hatchback.
The brakes are reallllllyyyyyyy sharp , took a while getting used to as my old saxo were not responsive at all. It drives really well you turn the wheel and it actually responds to you and the suspension is good you dont feel every stone and bump in the road like high performance cars.
The big one we all want to know about ........
Fuel consumption is brilliant put in £20 and you got half a tank driving sensible of corse and mpg is average 40-50mpg depending if your on the motorway or drving around a busy city centre like where i live.
To buy them now in 2012 i think they are around £4000 i didnt really want another one after the accident so havent really done much research into them, however the safety is brilliant because well im here now :)Tax and insurance i found was cheap for my age group of 18-21 and i was able to afford the tax which i think was 180 pound.
What was useful was the trip computer it told you how many miles you had left and obviously how many miles you had done and also the mpg.
The lights you can set to automatic which is useful because when you open the drivers door they turn off which means you dont have that annoying beep when you have forgotten to turn them off and also when you return to your car it actually starts because you havent drained the battery.
It comes with electric mirrors and windows. front and rear wipers with a variety of settings to suit your needs which is useful because if its not raining hard you do not want them whizzing across the screen.
-trip computer with multiple functions
-abs braking system
- some of them have take me home lights
-grap rails for passengers
-pockets in the front doors
-isofix as well for child seats which is important i put one in a couple of times to ship the nephew around in and it was easy to put it in as well as him :)
-seatbelts and airbags for safety as well as an alarm for door open just in case and an intruder alarm and central locking via remote and in case of emergancy a spare wheel
performance wise it does 0-60 in 13.4 secs
emission wise 139g/km
Summary: 1.4 car which is nippy around town
