Improved everything but the character (Renault Clio 1.2 3-door)

Advantages: massive inside

Disadvantages: not as much character as the old version

My girlfriend has a clio, an 07 one (the new one) and she also had the old version before. In my opinion, this version doesnt have as much character as the older one, and although it is nice enough inside, very spacious, big boot and drives well, i prefered the old version.

I have no idea why they changed it, the older version, although not the best car, was beautiful for a renault, and definately the choice to go for for a first car (must better than the boy racers corsa).

I must stress that there is nothing technically wrong with the new clio, it is unbeleivably big inside for a small car, and the alloys it comes with standard are very nice, it depends on what you want in a car. Personally I like my car to have character, and look nice, which the older version was more than this version.

All other aspects about the car are very good, especially considering the price, its reliable, and being a renault, has a good safety rating, and as i have already mentioned, very spacious inside.

However, if you like the look of it, then your in look as its a great car in all other aspects!
