Renault Grand Espace is the vehicle to shift bulk (people or stuff) (Renault Espace RXE 2.2 dT 7 seat)
Member Name: shaunwall
Advantages: Space, comfort, driver visibility, adaptability, economy Disadvantages: Built by Matra it is a Renault only in badge and every job is v. expensive. I've had my RXE now for some four years. It was bought entirely as a people and stuff carrier, the stuff in this case being one or more double basses and up to five people. It has served its purpose. It is a VGI very good idea to change the cam belt every 50,000 miles. Mine was changed after breaking at 140,000 all up cost almost £1000 as it broke valves and cam followers, rockers, but not the engine. Also the previous owner pranged the radiator at about 120,000 and admitted it cost him about £750. But the radweld used to get him home or something eventually clogged the heater matrixes and changing them has cost me £850. All of these costs could have been avoided. It's unbelievably plush, a pleasure to drive and regularly does 40+mpg. What more can I say in 150 words. I recommend the Grand Espace. Summary: I bought it for a purpose. It did what it said on the tin. I'm keeping it
