We spent quite a long time choosing a MPV between all the manufacturers but the Grand Espace was easily the best (and most expensive) of the lot. The combination of features, space, comfort and economy was the winner. After running it for nearly 3 years I remain of the same opinion that the car has been the best I have owned. Comfort is great as is reliability (no breakdowns and no claims under warranty). Just about to trade it in and get another one of the same although I might wait for the new model in October.

The Renault dealers in our area though are a completely different story with pretty dire service. One of the factors on not going for the VW was the dealership was shocking and it was an unpleasant surprise to find Renault were only marginally better. However a decision to do a service while on holiday in France showed that this is a UK problem. The French dealers were great, did a bunch of stuff for no cost, found a bunch of problems the UK dealers fobbed off. Will be getting the ferry for services from now!
