As our Laguna is nearly 1 year old I feel able to review it! The review will be from a female perspective and does not include too much of the technical stuff, as this can be found on the Internet. We bought our Laguna sport tourer last august from new and paid £18.000 for it, I shopped around and our local Renault garage price matched! ...

We bought a Leguna Privilege dci 1.9 with trade sales in slough for £3000 less than with Renault and think its a brilliant car. There are so many (getting technical here lol) bits and bobs that it will take me ages to know how to use everything lol but my husband treats it like his new toy. Even the small touches like a sun blind already on the ...

Sensible as I may be, as you well know by now, occassionally even I submit to temptation, and so here I will recount my experience of a blind date. THE BLIND DATE I was asked by my local Renault garage to attend their premises last Saturday to meet a new Sexy French lady. I duly attended their premises at the appointed time, and ...

I chose the diesel Renault Laguna to hopefully cut my fuel costs drastically. I travel 28 miles a day to and from work and it was getting expensive! I have been very happy with the fuel economy, up wards of 45 miles to the gallon. The ride is very comfortable and quiet, the sound system is brilliant, loud and with a column remote control. The car ...

I have never owned a car for more than 2 years, that was until I bought my Renualt Laguna 1.8RT four years ago for £8500 (25,000mls on the clock). It has given me sterling service during the 40,000 miles I have driven it. RIDE - it is lovely and smooth but not spongy and very quiet with both engine and road noise at a minimum. ...

I took delivery of a new Laguna Executive 2.0L automatic in August 1998. The first thing that impressed me was the climate control, and that is one of the best features. In common with other users, I have found the automatic version to be underpowered and sluggish. Acceleration is a great disappointment. The car is comfortable, and my version ...

~ ~ I’ve a friend who works with one of the Renault main dealers here in Dublin, and who had been “raving” to me for the past week about the new model Laguna that is due to hit the Irish market at the beginning of next month. So I dropped into him last Thursday to see what all the “drooling” was about. ...

This car has changed in many ways which has made it more appealable to all kinds of people. The 1.6 litre engine and larger are among the best Lagunas to have as they are extremely quick off the mark, and comfortable. Space is important to me, because i am 6 feet 6 inches tall, and there is lots of it in this car.Leg room is very good and head room ...

This is the newest (just under 3 years when purchased) and least reliable car I have owned in 17 years. Apart from the poor ergonomic and aesthetic design, woefully poor heating/ventilation system (for British winters), one child-unfriendly rear seatbelt which is appallingly difficult to fasten, a rear-view mirror which vibrates at 65mph, ...

I have a Laguna 2.0S 16v RTi - with aircon. It's certainly pretty to look at and very nice to drive. That's the good side. On the bad side: The servicing costs are enormous - mostly due to the ineptitude of Renault main dealers to fix anything without 6 hours labour. Take them elsewhere and you can save a fortune. I was recently ...

My dad bought a new laguna two years age, he bought the 3 litre executive which he thought was a fantastic car, electric seats air conditioning leather seats the works, he paid twenty six thousand for it, but two years down the road he has had nothing but problems, it is on his fourth gear box they keep finding metal fragments in it, the air ...

The Renault Laguna is a estate car, which is fairly cheap and to the point. The interior is what you would expect, dull and boring. The radio works, but CD player doesn’t come as standard which by todays standards is pretty poor. The seats are comfortable, all good point is that there is a good amount of leg room in the back seats but as the ...

After buying two Renault Laguna 3.0 V6 I feel comfortable about offering comment. The first 1995 M Reg was a dream. It was hard to fault, powerful, safe, good looking, comfortable, reliable and very relaxing to drive on long journeys. In the three years I owned it nothing mechanical went wrong. The only problem was the radio reception ...

The Laguna, although still good looking, is beginning to look rather dated. The same old lines mean that the Laguna has fallen a long way behind the newest designs of, say, Ford. The cutting edge design of the new Mondeo puts the Laguna in the shade. The Laguna's redeeming factors include the full executive interior (top model) and beefy ...

I'd like to be able to blame someone else for the mistake I made in buying a renault Laguna, but in the end it was my own fault. We bought a Laguna V6 Auto around three years ago (2 years old second hand) after changing jobs and taking a car allowance rather than company car. We'd done some looking around and the spec ...
