The Megane is obviously a classy looking car, but appearance isn't everything! So although I'd heard its the safest car in its class (according to the advert) that would have to be tested when I tried to insure it. To my great delight my new 1.4 Megane (99 V reg actually) was only going to cost me an extra £50 to insure from my bog standard 1.2 Vauxhall Corsa. Amazing or what? Things have only got better......this car is so quiet when its running I sometimes reach for the key to turn on the ignition.
