I am now on my second Megane. The first (1996 1.6e Hatch) I kept for 3 yrs and 70,000 miles and it didn't let me down once. I have recently changed up to the new 16v Alize Hatchback with Air Con, Automatic transmission and ABS. The safety features are second to none with airbags all round and the engine drops down into the road on a frontal impact rather than back into the car cabin. It looks good, it's quiet, comfortable and stylish. The new Megane is a brilliant car made better. Yes, it may be a bit soft on the tighter bends but it adds to the character of the car. I have nothing but praise for this vehicle.
