I Bought my Renault Megane as a brand new car, it was a Renault Megane 1.6 Dynamique, which I also upgraded to the full leather interior. I don't have many complaints about the Megane at all, and when I first had it, lots of friends and family were amazed at some of the latest gadgets that it had in it, which were not around on many other cars at the time. These included automatic lights, automatic front window wipers, automatically tinting rear view mirror, card and start button to start the vehicle, all windows closed when locking the car etc etc. These have since been introduced to lots of cars nowadays, but 6 years ago, they were a new thing, and this worried me a little at the time, as I was concerned that they may go wrong a lot, but they never did. In all the time I had the car, I was very pleased with it, it was the 1.6 engine, and was a little slow, but I suspect the 1.4 engine must struggle with the size and weight of the Megane. Apart form the odd tyre, the only thing I had to replace was the brake discs and pads, and I had to do it Twice, in the space of only 48,000 miles, which I was a little disappointed at, especially as it was £400 + to have it done each time.

Overall great car, with some pretty cool gadgets, decent sized boot, and good room in the back of the car, ideal for families, and a decent fuel economy of around 45 MPG.
