Advantages: Cheap to buy, Big, Safe

Disadvantages: Cheap finish, depreciation, French!

The Renault Megan is a middle of the range family car, offering higher than average specification in comparision to it's main competitors. It's relatively cheap, has good safety reports, and it is big enough to transport 5 adults in reasonable comfort. However, the finish quality is poor (handles tend to fall off!), the standard of the interior is sparsely functional and it depreciates quicker than something that depreciates very quickly. Don't even think about Renault Option type finance packages. Servicing the car is cheap, but be prepared to be stung when the exhaust goes!
