Advantages: Good to drive, spacious, affordable, strong

Disadvantages: some of the controls are hard to see.

I have the 1.6 litre engine, version, with air con and have had it for 18 months - it has just passed its first MOT with flying colours, which is always nice. In general I am very happy with my car - I echo the comment that some of the controls are positioned where you can't actually see them, because of the locxation of the steering wheel, but that's a minor gripe.

One thing I found was that they're very tough; I had a bit of a disagreement with a mondeo a couple of month, and my car took the force of the impact on the suspension arm thing. Although there was quite a bit of damage, there was no injury and the seating compartment was untouched. The airbag didn't inflate though, which was odd, but I wasn't going very fast so that may be why.

All in all, I am very happy with my car - it's lovely to drive, and the air con is a real luxury. I also like the pose-value of the stereo controls on the steering wheel. I haven't noticed any lack of legroom in the back (and nor have my taller friends who sit there rather more than I do) and there's loads of boot space - I can store a full p.a. kit in the back with room for the week's shopping around the sides!
