... has a three year warranty - VW were only offering 1 year which was an additional consideration. I am based mainly overseas and the standard is to have very basic fixtures and fittings. Nevertheless, ABS , A/C, Sunroof, 4 airbags, Sporty seats were all in the spec. I added in a decent alarm, metallic paint and a CD player with a 10 disc changer together with a hands free kit for the mobile. I have owned a Megane Coupe for 2 1/2 years now. I bought it as I wanted a car which was good looking but not massively expensive. My only other choice really was the Golf which would have cost me over a grand more. The Coupe is certainly a bit of a looker - mine is silver with same colour trim - a good sporty shape and a short little back. although it doesn't have a rear spoiler as the 2.0l model does I don't think that it looks any the worse for it!
