Renault Megane Sport Alize 1.6 16v Cabriolet

Good car in general, the only problem that i found was there are only four seats, but does have a handy little storage box inbetween the two back seats where the middle seat should be. Handles well, but a small bit of understeer if powered a little too much round corners. Had it about 18 months, even if i left it untouched for two weeks it would always start first time. the petrol economy was good if driven sensibly, but as with all cars, give it abit or a run around and the petrol gauge needle seems to drop rather quick. Good Spec, Good Price, overall Good. I have now had my Megane since Sept 2000, bought new from Renault London West (A40). I must say that the car was a really good buy and was not much dearer than the import versions currently flooding the country. The UK spec model has better security and the warranty is probably better (no need to try that out at the moment, touch wood) Firstly a downer. I found that most of the dealers did all they could to try and put me off buying this car, from not returning calls, not organising test drives, and giving really poor trade in values.
