Renault Clio (1991-98): ... Wife bought a 1.2l Clio Biarritz around year 2001, which lasted about 6 years before finally dying. In those 6 years we didn t have any major expense on the car, except for wear and tear. It really is a fantastic car that is low maintenance, good on petrol and overall, reliable. 	Renault Megane in general ... a relative car novice, i bought my Renault Megane on the look of the car alone. Of course i done a little bit of research before purchasing, but in reality i was just hoping I would find nothing major wrong to put me off. I went for a 2003 1.6 VVT Dynamique. Overall, I am pretty happy with my purchase. I guess you could say that the styling is kind of love it or hate it. I really like it, I think it makes the car stand out in a time when all other cars are starting to look the same. I have heard of reliability issues with the Megane, mainly with the electrics. 	Renault Clio 1.2 3-door ... have currently been driving this car for just over 3 years and can t really fault anything. The little motor does exactly as you would expect, take you places but not very quickly. I have the 1.2 8v campus model which is the bottom of the range and is there to help young students to get a new car which wont breakdown etc. Well it does exactly what it says really. I have taken this on a 750 mile round trip very recently and it performed well (even topped 100 mph which it says it cant do). The interior is very basic, very plasticky, very bland.
