Ive had 2 Rover 214i's, The first i never drove as a standerd car, just moddified it. A lot. Engine was swapped for a 250bhp T16 and the suspension and brakes were changed to track spec items. Its like Pie Head is living my life 6months a head of me! I bought a T reg Rover 214i 16v 3 door in Sept 2000 with 18,000 on the clock for £5500. In under 3 years it has been totally unreliable. The electronics are abysmal especially the starter system! I have had 3 new rotor arms (£7 each!!!) Not a big job but surely they shouldn't go every 6months! New leads, numerous loose connections! Loss of voltage to rear brake light?!?! In the middle of sorting this one out! It is currently off the road awaiting repair after it got rained on!!! The paint it flaking of the bumpers, the windscreen washers are always getting blocked. ... Read the complete review

I bought my Rover 200 (a 1.4i 16v) when it was amere 10 months old back in 1999, it had 6,000 on the clock and I bought it from the main deals in Oldham (Richard Corts), cost was just short of £8,000. Since then I have had to have several repairs carried out and the vehicle is not even 4 years old. New front brake pads and discs, both sides (twice!) New Exhaust New rear cylinder (twice) New Starter Motor New Battery New Oxygen sensor in the Catalytic Convertor A reconditioned Gearbox!!!!! New Radio New Electric window motor New Throtle New Clutch Cracks appeared in the Windscreen as well I currently ... Read the complete review
