Advantages: Nippy, Good drive

Disadvantages: No central locking

I've been driving the basic version of a new Rover 25 for the last couple of days as its my Companys new pool car, my usual vehcile is a Renault Scenic.

The Rover 25 is a small car, though it will seat 5 (small) people.

I've found the handling and drive quality of the Rover 25 to be excellent, the car is very nippy and handles corners extremely well aided by the power steering. Fuel economy also seems to be reasonable at around 33 mpg for an urban cycle. The car also has a fairly good stereo system.

However, the basic version is a little too basic as it doesn't have central locking or electric windows which are standard features on the basic models of other manufacturer's vehicles. The lack of central locking is a real bug bare and would put me off buying this version.
