Advantages: Good MPG, Comfortable, Powerful

Disadvantages: Insurance, Spare Parts

Insurance group 14 means it costs the earth to insure this family car, but that aside this is one damn good car, it's quality engine always starts first time and the comfortable seating and interior means a relaxed and pleasant journey. The engine is so good that you can point this baby up any hill in any gear (even 5th) and the car will go straight up, no problem. It will do about 35 mpg on average, (more on motorways) and always has enough power to get you out of problems. On the downside, if something goes wrong it will be expensive, very, very expensive to fix (1 gromet for the electric window £150 plus VAT because Rover only sell the whole unit!) I Love Rovers!
PS, the rover 420sli is the only car that has killed somebody by premature airbag failure!

The reliability of most Rovers I know is enough to give the owners nervous breakdowns. No pun intended. :-)
Seems you have been lucky with yours, but we could have done with a tad more information from the purchaser's point of view.
