Maybe it is a little early to judge this car as I took delivery of it only two weeks ago and It has done just 500 miles. My first impressions are that it will become one of those tools which never lets you down but fails to inspire. From the top... The build quality looks excellent with the doors and switches making the right clunking noises when used. However most of the facia is plastic, high quality plastic but a little grey and uniform for my tastes. This extends to the steering wheel which is made of that textured grippy grey stuff. Everything is laid out well in the cabin you just are not made to feel like you are sitting in anything special. The one or two quirky items, such as the ignition key being at the foot of the gear stick, are just that quirky but not special. Driving the car is comfortable and smooth. The turbo fitted is a low pressure item so it gets spinning very quickly and gives bottom and mid range boost rather than a great whack at high revs. The whole experience is quite remote though with no real engine noise. My strongest criticism is reserved for the handling. It seems stable enough around corners, though I can’t say I have pushed it. However, if you floor it out of a turn you get some wild torque steer with the front wheels scurrying across the road. I know this is a problem with most front wheel cars but it seems accentuated here by the addition of 160 HP. In summary I am sure this will not let me down and get me from A to B in an anonymous and unruffled state. All I can say is I am glad I have a superbike to provide the thrills
