We had a Seat Toledo in the family for a few years at around the time when I first started learning to drive and many of my early driving experiences are associated with this car. This car was produced by Seat before Volkswagen came and restructured the company, changed their product line and taught them how to put things ... Read the complete review

I bought the car near the end of 1999. My dark "Indigo" blue Toledo has always been 100% reliable. No rattles or squeaks. I actually carry a full-sized cello in a hard case and many other things at the same time in the enormous boot. When I bought my Toledo new, it cost me over 17,000 ... Read the complete review

I bought the car as new, intending to keep it for 5 years then sell it before things started going wrong. However, things went wrong with it after about 2 years (exhaust, air conditioning, brake pads, suspension), and now it's 4 years old I've just had a garage bill for £900 because something went wrong with the throttle ... My first car was (and still is) a 1993 L-reg Seat Toledo 1.8 GLX Olympico (what a mouthful!). I chose a big car as I needed to do a lot of miles and wanted the engine to cope with high speeds on the motorway. I also wanted to be reasonably comfortable too! The engine is great – straight out of a Volkswagen. That means ... Read the complete review

I have recently aquired a Seat Toledo V5 - this thing really goes like Sh*t off the proverbial shoval, the car comes pretty much fully loaded with leather seats, air con, electric seats etc etc... The fuel consumption is very good (unless you have the Air con on) usually around 400 miles to a £38 tank of Unledded petrol, the car ... Read the complete review
