Advantages: Low initial/running costs

Disadvantages: Somewhat basic

I have owned a Felicia Estate 1.9D since new which I purchased three years ago.

It has just sailed through the 3yr MOT with flying colours.

Since I purchased it I have had no warranty claims, no AA call outs or starting problems.

It still returns 45/50 mpg on normal roads and 40 mpg on motorways.

It is fitted with a tow hook and stabiliser for my caravan which it has pulled about the English Lake District. With the caravan in tow it can take the steepest hill in second gear and the diesel engine just turns over at low revs and takes it up, albeit slowly.

The original purchase price was so low that depreciation is not too great.

Do not be put off by "Skoda Jokes" the laugh
is on people whom have paid a lot more money for a vehicle with a similar spec.
