The Skoda Octavia RS has got to be the best value, most fun, and most practical car out there on the market at present, and let me tell you my opinion why. As a company director, I had free choice of what car to get, but still I wanted to be practical on the cost of the vehicle. After looking around many, many cars, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series,Mazda 6, MG ZT etc (awful), one of my friends suggested a run out to the SKODA garage. I was a little apprehensive, however had heard very good reviews of late of the Octavia Range. One glance at the Octavia RS, and I was hooked. I bought my Skoda Octavia Rs, well good old work did, in June last year, off the shelf for just £14,500...great value. What a great job VW have done by taking them over Apart from a few of the M-series BMW's, nothing really touches it for it's money or performance. I have even given a few snobs in their TT's a good run for their money. At 180bhp it is quick off the mark and, for a few hundred quid, easily re-chipped. The car is restricted to 155mph but a dont think youll need to go faster.
