Now for my thoughts
This car has almost everything for a lot less than the slightly quicker Lancer EVO VI or GSR
In fact almost 30 thousand notes!!
O.K.
The 6.6sec 0-60 is not the evo 6's 4.4 but hey 30,0000 is yes you guessed it a lot.
Well it is to someone like me.
Another possibility is that you could find a second hand one with pro-drive which reduces the 0-60 to approx 5.5 sec!!
Yes
Not bad is it
The interior isn't bad, not quite luxury but you'll be to busy trying to beat the 144mph max (which is possible!!)
speed to notice.
I have travelled in one on many occasions so I know what this 'beast' is capable of and I can honestly say that if I did have that sort of money to spare I would buy one.
Acceleration is awsome
Nice grunt
Very good cornering
What more can I say
Perfect car apart from the upolstry which could be improved slightly.
CAUTION:Be gentle on the accelerator unless you have a major share in
B.P. or SHELL or have a orchard of money trees growing in your garden.

You talk total shit mate, you have obviously never been in or even come close to a genuine Impreza P1, not a Jap import STi, but the original UK spec Prodrive car.

I've taken the liberty as a P1 owner, number 451/1000, to correct your FACTS!!!

First the facts
Subaru Impreza 2.0 Turbo awd
Model 2.0 Turbo awd
Price £ 21450
Insurance Group 17 P1 is group 20
Fuel Petrol
Technical
Engine 1994
Transmission Manual
Power 211 bhp BHP is actually 280 ps/276 bhp
Torque 214 lb/ft Torque is actually 240lb/ft
Brakes Front VENT DISC Correct, you could have mentined the Subaru 2 pot calipers or like my P1 has, the 330mm Prodrive discs with Prodrive 4pot calipers.
Brakes Rear DISC
ABS Standard
Tyres 205/55 VR15 17" OZ Racing wheels are standard, mine has the 18" upgrade
Dimensions l/w/h 4350/1690/1420 (mm)
Weight 1270 Kg
Boot Capacity 376
Fuel Tank Size 50
Performance
Top Speed 144 mph. Top speed is actually 155mph
0-60 6.4 seconds Miles off, the standard P1 will hit 60mph in about 4.6secs
Economy
Extra Urban 34.9 mpg. I wish.
Combined 29.7 mpg
Pence Per Mile Cost 31.8
Features
Driver Airbag Standard
Passenger Airbag Standard
Air Con. Optional Extra. Standard
Electric Windows Standard
Electric Mirrors Standard
Split Fold Rear Seat Standard. Its a 2 door saloon you fool.
Steering Adjustment Standard
Sunroof Optional Electric. No No No
Sigma m30 cat 1 alarm /immob staqndard.
RAC Trakstar standard
Prodrive styling all round
Only available in Sonic Blue, not WR blue

Your insurance figures are totally wrong too, i am 27 with full no claims and a clean licence, i pay £753 with Admiral.
The P1 will eat Evo's for brekkie and have Porsche/Ferrari lunch breaks.
Maybe not top speed but definatly on acceleration.
Mine has been tweeked slightly, HKS front mount intercooler, Full HKS exhaust inc, equal length manifold, de-cat and Super Dragger back box. HKS competition Blow off Valve, HKS suction kit, induction kit and water spray.
Knocklink sensor, Competition clutch and lightened flywheel, upgraded ecu, forged pistons. Thats it in the engine bay.

The results are as follows.

Power output is now 370ps/365bhp
Torque 280 lb/ft
0-60 4.1 secs
0-100 9.55 secs
Top speed 166 mph.

So here is my review on what can only be described as the best car i have owned so far. Sure the ride is stiff, economy is poor, service and parts costs are ridiculous, but you can't run a supercar on a budget. If you can't afford it don't buy it. If you can afford it then get one, you will find a whole new driving experience in one. Don't bother with a 22b as these are all imports, only a handfull have typeUK tag, but they are only official imports not UK only cars. The only performance difference is 40-70 mph time!!!

Sorry to have been so rude about your review but i had to put you straight.

My justification for awarding this a Not Useful is that its a list of specifications not an opinion.
