The Subaru again reflects this 20% margin, so far I have achieved 39.22mpg over just over 12,000 miles, that against a Subaru claimed 50.7mpg on the combined cycle. Having painted a rather odd and confusing picture with both my title and the pros and cons listed above, a brief preamble to the review is in order. I am sure you all know how it is; you buy a car and suddenly every second car that you see on the road is like your new pride and joy. For me, during my last twenty eight years on the road it has always been thus, that was until making, what in hindsight now appears to be, the giant leap of motoring faith that is Subaru ownership. Whilst the Impreza is a common enough sight, the Subaru Legacy, in any model shape, is extremely rare on UK roads. Supercar killing performance, and practical too. 22mpg at best, costly servicing

Handling, looks, power, performance - everything! None!

Good quality, reliable, great drive, good dealer network 3.0's a little on the thirsty side, and that tax bracket!
