My parents have had this car since 2001. It is a 51 plate, so not the newest of cars. However despite its age it has been a very good runner.
The car is a 4x4 therefore has the ability to be put in 4x4 mode which is perfect for driving off road or more likely in icy conditions. We paid around £12,000 for the car. At this time this was a decent price and probable the cheapest style of car on the market. The car has all the additional features you would want, however some cost more to have installed. Our model has an electric sun roof, electric windows, floor mats CD player and remote central locking.
The car has plenty of space inside with the ability to fold down the back seats to extend the boot space. We have a dog and she has no worries getting in. We have also managed to fit 4 people in the car and drive to France with a boot full of luggage and a roof rack. The downside to this is the petrol consumption goes up drastically.
We have the 5 door model, 2.0 ltr petrol. The car is also available in diesel but only in 1.9 ltr. We have automatic which is surprisingly powerful. The auto gear box is excellent and has not given us any trouble.
The visibility is great as the car is so high up, and as a result is easy to park. The height also makes it very easy to get in and out.
The only real problems with the car have been the tyres which get worn out quite quickly and are expensive to replace.
The car is a very good, mid price range 4x4. Susuki is a reliable name and the car is a high quality.
