Suzuki Swift 1.0 3-door

This is one of them cars that is a real " hand me down" and yes, sure enough it was handed down to me a short while after I started driving. The reason why I have mentioned this car is because, put quite simply it did everything I ever needed it to do. It was reliable without any of the mod cons of some of the cars today (no electric windows, mirrors, power steering). It had a very basic (1.0 liter, 3 cylinder) engine, which was easily and cheaply repaired, due to the lack of electrical components. I purchased my Swift eighteen months ago and I am fast approaching eighteen thousand miles. The fuel economy is excellent, I have avaraged almost sixty miles per gallon. It is fairly comfortable and responsive for a 1.0. The car is very light (hence the economy and response). The upholstery is cheap and cheerful and the paintwork is easily marked. I am pretty pleased with my Swift as an economical means of getting from A to B.
