We recently got our new 5 door Aygo Blue on the UK Government Scrappage Scheme. So far we have had no problems in the lsat 6 months or so. The 1.0 litre engine is very nippy for the car and it is great for short or long runs. I generally drive the car 22 miles per day to work and find it always a pleasure to drive and waiting to get me ... Read the complete review

Our Aygo is 3.5 years old with 33,000 miles. Just under a year ago it had a new clutch fitted under warranty but that is now failing and will soon be replaced under its own warranty. Whilst confirming the second failure, our Toyota garage informed us that the front discs and pads need replacing at a cost of £221! In the few days between ... Read the complete review

I am a new driver, and a Toyota Aygo is the first car I have driven, apart from my instructors car. Just over 2 years ago my parents bought a brand new Aygo, (in automatic). I find it very easy as a new driver, although it only has a small engine it still feels quite nippy because it is so small and light, and the handling is quite easy, as it is ... Ok, so I bought this car about 2 years ago. At first I thought that it was great, I mean £35 on road tax a year and very cheap to run on petrol but I soon discovered, once I hit the 20000 mark that all was not as it seemed. Firstly my clutch went and had to be replaced then about 2 months later my exhaust went. I since discovered, after ... Read the complete review

A surprisingly nippy little car, this.
I bought an Aygo Platinum two months ago and I absolutely love it. Sure, the engine's only 1.0L but the car's so incredibly light that it's really rather nippy.
What do I like about it? Well, it's fuel-efficient, doing about 600 miles between fill-ups. It responds well, steering and accelerating just as well as I need. Never had any problems with it at all.
It's also very cheap to insure, relatively speaking - being in (I think) the lowest bracket. And road tax is about £35 per year, which is lovely.
It doesn't come with air con, which has obvious implications - especially given the current weather! Also the boot is very small, though the back seats do fold down (albeit not entirely flat).
Need a good, reliable, surprisingly-nippy small car? Look no further.

I am a busy mum of 2 & I have a 2007 Aygo Black. For financial reasons I changed my much loved Yaris for this smaller model which saved around £80 per month on the PCP (Personal Contract Purchase), cheaper road tax, better fuel economy, cheaper insurance & running costs. My main concern was reducing to only 4 seats & smaller boot, ... Read the complete review

We have a Toyota Aygo Sport (2006) as our second car and while it was fantastic at first, once our son came along it became a real pain. I cannot fit his travel system in the boot, despite it folding down extremely small, and the boot is not even big enough to hold a small suitcase. In all the time I have had the car (2.5 years) I have ... Read the complete review
