Advantages: Resale value.Capable of high milage

Disadvantages: Spares expensive.

I own a 1996 CARINA 2.0 GLI.I have had the car for two years and it has proved to be super reliable so far and after 44,000 miles
hasn't any of the squeaks and rattles I have
suffered with other mass produced cars.
The two litre engine makes an excellent tow
car which pulls my 15 foot Coachman caravan
with ease.
I think the fuel consumption for this size
engine is quite good at around 30mpg regardless of where you drive.
On the down side I find the drivers seat a
bit narrow and hard.I am over six foot tall
and although there is a lever on the seat to
give lumber suport I sometimes suffer from
backache on really long journeys.
Finally on the four door saloon like mine
the slightly humped boot makes reversing a
bit tricky.
This is my first Toyota and I am now a committed Toyota owner.
