We have recently purchased the new look Corolla with the twin head lights. Not that I am boasting but I think it has greatly improved the appearance of this car. It is a dream to drive. The seats are very comfy and the interior of the car has been very well thought out. In fact the only thing that I can fault it on is the radio - cassette which is very basic, in fact stoneage! I just can't understand manufacturers of this calibre installing such poxy cassettes!! The interior is nicely laid out althogh I think that the plastic is easy to scratch - watch those rings and things! There are little extras that you like such as the drinks tray and cosmetic mirror. There is even a very handy compartment between the front seats for storage. The headlights are fully adjustable - a boom for certain roads and conditions. There is an extra setting for the rear windscreen wipers as well - Instead of either on or off. These are all things that make for a better driving experience. The sort of things that other manufacturers should be thinking of. It also has an onboard computer - my husband loves this! - it tells how much you are doing per gallon and the outside temperature, and of course the time. Altogether I would rate this as one of the top family cars that are available. We have the 1.6 automatic and after having a 1.3 car for three years it is amazing the difference in power! I no longer have to put my foot down.
