Whilst I don't own this vehicle I did have one for work for nearly 6 months and had to do a professional off road driving course too, which I would definately recommend. Toyota's are legendary for their durability (see top gear!) and reliability. Their excellence is evident from their use by Arctic Trucks when they convert cars for use in extremes such as the Arctic (see also top gear) and also at the South Pole (Amundsen/Scott race 08/09 support vehicles)! From the outside this vehicle is nice, you can get lots of chrome but I don't go for that and rather the look of mud! Ours got the nickname the big red monster and was a pleasure to use almost ... The toyota hi-lux crew cab is probably the best veicle i have ever owned.I have had 4 hi-lux pickups 2 crew cabs and 2 2 door. The 2 door ones were 8 and 10 years old and i was so impresed by them that i bought a new one. This was a 2.4 non turb model and i only cept it for a year and then got a 2.4 turbo diesel whitch I found was a lot better at towing and general off road and on road work. The comfort level over a long journy is as good as any car and as I am 6ft 4in I need quite a lot off room.Over the last 4 years I have covered over 64000 miles and the only problem I have had were 2 broken springs on the rear and thease were replased on warrenty. The only draw back I ...
