Pros: Economy, get up to 32 MPG on freeway, easy to handle, compact size, sporty looking, nice car in overall
Cons: none so far
Ok, so mine is the 2003 version, which I bought used about 2 years ago. It runs like a charm, very good MPG. I once took a 110 miles trip to the beach then back. I did not have to fill gas the entire day.
The car runs very smooth (keep in mind that I changed oil every 4000 miles or so). Handling is among the best. I have own a Honda once, but to be honest, I love this Matrix better.
It's a sport utility car, meaning that you get great MPG, great space for storage and very good handling for Medium-duty jobs. I can pretty much put anything inside this guy. Since I moved into my new apartment, I have bought a new full-size matress, a set of computer desk and a new loveseat; and believe it or not, I can fit them perfectly inside the car (of course not all of them at the same time).
Final words, a good sport utility, nice looking car with great MPG and good storage space for about $6000, what else you need ???
