... Overall then, the Yaris GS 1.0 is a lovely little car. Stylish, without being "cool", this is a nice little runner and with being a reliable Toyota, it almost certainly won't let you down. The only recommendation I would make is to opt for the 1.3 litre engine version, as I would imagine that the performance of the car is even better. ...more

Having been a delighted owner of a Toyota Starlet 1.3 for over 4 years, when I came to look for a new car, the Starlet's replacement - the Toyota Yaris was the logical first place to look. After an impressive (non-pushy) sales pitch from the Toyota dealer and a brief test-drive, I was further convinced that the Yaris was indeed the right choice for me.
