Advantages: very cheap to run
Disadvantages: nothing found
The Toyota Yaris is a car unlike any car I have driven. Firstly in looks it is small compacted but once inside surprisingly roomy with excellent head and leg room. The driving position is very comfortable and the offers good visability. Now we come to the engine, available in 1.0 and 1.3, I had the 1.0lt and found it to be extremly nippy around town. The VVTI engine, which operates 6 valves, only opening 4 when required helps fuel economy, which is something this little car knows all about. On a normal roundabout town drive I was getting about 55 mpg and once out and into the countyside it sits happily at 65mph and still offers about 46 mph. The reason I know so much about the mph is the ingeneously placed computer which works out your mpg for every jeorngy , also giving you the outside temperature. So we?ve established that its very nice looking and very cheap on fuel, well you may think these make it worthy of a second look, but when I tell you that the 1.0ltr is only a group 2 insurance, it makes it the cheapest car to run, and fun to drive to. Happy motoring
