The Verso is, more or less, an estate version of the Toyota Yaris. I have just bought one for my wife to shuttle the children back and forth to school. We are all pleased with it. Prior to this my wife was driving my Isuzu Tooper (long wheel base)which she found really awkward to park in limited spaces. The verso has excellent all round visibility which aids parking in smaller spaces. In the back there are great extras like the light built into the roof that is actually a recharging torch. There is a power-point for laptops/computer games etc. Superb!
The best news is though is that the Verso is doing around 50 miles per gallon consistantly compared with the Trooper which only got 20-25 miles per gallon. This is saving me around £80.00 pounds per month - Whoopeee! This is also good new considering the fuel crisis in GB at the moment!

I dont know why, but Im guessing its something to do with the vvti design of the engine - computer controls fuel injection based on revs or something - but 2nd gear is a bit sluggish!

Its a fantastic car - loads of room inside, loads of cubby holes to store stuff, large enough boot space...It is like a small MPV, comparable to Meganes etc but a lot cheaper. I paid around 11,500 for ours (alloy wheels + cd included)and in my opinion got v.good value for money - "you get a lot of car for your money" as Arthur Daley would say!
It does look a bit strange but if you want good value and dont want a "run of the mill" boring motor then get one of these!
