Advantages: nippy, small (easy to get into a parking space), great powersteering, reliable.....
Disadvantages: no boot light, the parcel shelf keeps falling down
I have an X reg 2000 Toyota Yaris. I have owned it for 4 years now.
It is a small car but on the inside it is huge. The are handy compartments everywhere, the back seat moves forward and backwards to give passengers more space. I find there is more space in the back seats of this car than any other small car and even some bigger cars.
It is really reliable, the only things I have replaced are new tyres, neew brake pads and something to do with the suspension. The radio did brake within a year of me owning it, no idea why but I got it replaced for free as it was included in the extended warrenty.
The MPG on this car is fab at approx 50mpg, cant get much better.
It is also really nippy beating most cars of the line - which is good as it is only a 1litre.
The car is high up so really easy to find in a car park - and also really easy to get in and out of.
The digital dashboard is great and I never want to go back to an analogue speedo its just so easy to read.
I was 19 when I got this car, it was my second car, it has been so reliable for meI dont want to get rid of it, if i ever do i will definately go for another toyota - probably the yaris.
The only problems I have with the car are there is no boot light, the parcel shelf keeps falling down and it doesnt clean itself but what car does)
Summary: if you want a hassel free car which is cheap to run with loads of space inside - you cant get better
