Having owned my T-sport from new, this month was its three year anniversary and the obligatory M.O.T test. Whilst passing, it was noted that the outside edge of the brake disks was badly corroded, (previous year check also picked up on this). Now I know i'm not the kindest person on the brake pedal, but the pads, all three years old, have outlasted the disks. The reason being, given by the bloke in the Toyota shop, was due to low milage (24K). Anyone smell the BS? . I thought all makes and model of cars would have this problem, due to the edge not being abraded by anything. The repair will be done under warranty, but at £60 per disk, plus labour , its a minor fault that I could have done without this month, 3 years hence, 6 years hence........
