Like most people who buy a car, I had a house full of papers and magazines looking at reviews for various cars and they all had the same theme about looks and performance and unless it was a Merc or BMW, every car fell short of the reviewers personal standards. That?s the point, one persons view who expects a car to go 150mph on our little roads and to extend his you know what. I wanted a small car, cheap to run and reliable. I wasn?t going to pay extra for AC or alloys as a car for me at the moment is a tool and not an image thing. I looked at all the options, Matiz, Fiesta, Corsa and then saw an Agila. Different yes but it grows on you, cheap to run and for the money has to be one of the better cars. OK it?s not fast but if I wanted a fast car I would have bought a fast car, it is not a clone car either, all looking the same as they drive down the road and then me, sitting higher than most and keeping up with the top of the range BMW?s and Mercedes as I go around town with a wry smile as I know my car cost a at least 50% less than most and in some case 70-80% less but doing the same job but a lot cheaper. It is very reliable, comfortable and above all has a good resale value. Every review I saw had a pop at the Agila but in truth, if you want a cheap, reliable car that is a match for any car around town, you won?t go wrong with this strange little beast.

Welcome to Dooyoo.

A few tips to get you started on the site: Although there's no limit on the amount of reviews you can post it's better to post just three a day then you'll find you get more reads. If you read and rate around the site you'll soon find out what should be included in a review plus you'll get known to other members which will result in them reading things that you post.

It?s always a good idea to write your reviews as though you are writing for someone who has never heard of the product, that way you?ll cover everything. Also it?s best to write your review in Microsoft Word and run a spellchecker before posting onto the site.

You can ask any of the guides for help with any aspect of the site and a list of all the guides can be found here http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/c ommunity/_page/advice_gui des/. They will do everything they can to help with your query.

You may have noticed that there are no capital letters on reviews that you post on the site. However, there is a fix for this and full instructions can be found at http://www.chuckleweb.co. uk/fixit.php.

Lastly you can sign up for your own guest book at http://www.crosswordcheat s.com/tooyoo/ where you can chat with other Dooyoo members.

Above all I hope you enjoy it here and have fun :O) Sara

Welcome to dooyoo!

Running costs? Fuel consumption? Insurance? Servicing costs? Not the manufacturer's figures but your own experiences.

Any problems mechanically or otherwise?
