I happen to be lucky enough to have in my possession an astra belmont. It is 1989 and
has very low miles for its age. It has no rust YES! NO RUST!!! It starts first time,
every time and mint condition isn't the word for it. Immaculate is!
UNTIL we bought mixed fuel by accident but that is another story.
It is the original car apart from a Sony stereo fitted.
It is very economical compared to larger engine saloon in it's class and can carry 5 people easily.
It is sluggish but for someone wanting a first car u could do a lot worse than to pick
up a old cheap and economical and cheap to ensure belmot.

I have been driving the belmont as my own car for many months now and have found it to be economical and very reliable.
Being a young driver and sorry to say a bit of a dangerous one in like having the small engine as it keeps me from going too fast too soon!!!
