Disadvantages: The name

My wife took delivery of a Titan Gold automatic 2.2 in October 2001 with leather seats & trip computer. It's done just 5000 miles & we both love it.
The power application is smooth, rapid and effortless with very little pressure on the excelerator required. The automatic transmission is almost seamless and as smooth as I've experienced. Cornering is so good, I'd be scared to try and find the cars' limitations (traction control assists). ABS brakes bite well. Standard cruise control is really usefull for motorway journeys. The car is well put together and is a full 4 adult seater with good sized boot. The only minus point is it's unimaginative name, why Vauxhall used the word 'Astra', rather than a more fitting name is beyond us, but in our opinion it looks better than most 'exclusive' brand equivalents. It also thrashes most of them with a refined, but throaty growl at the red line!!
In car entertainment is via a good quality 4 CD interchanger with RDS radio and cassette player included.
One small point to make to Vauxhall - make the standard air conditioning automatic, rather than manual and include it in the price.
