Advantages: comfortable to drive and looks wicked standard

Disadvantages: 2 litre so high tax and high insurance

I have an Astra Gsi Mk3. I love it! Its a 2litre 16v and its the redtop engine.I was told that the ecotec engine isnt as good/fast. I love the way this car comes as standard and all i have had to do was put nice 6 spoke 17inch alloys on and a stainless steel scorpian full exhaust on (cat back.) I chose a twin exhaust as thats what comes on standard and they really suit these cars.
I need to get my back arches redone tho as they have rusted a little but seem to be gettng worse quite quick.I was told that rusting of the arches are a common problem for these cars.
The interior is really good standard and i wouldnt even change it as its black and grey and the seats are made by recaro although i would like some nice big leather bucket seats.
My cars a L reg so quite old and has over 100k on the clock but still running as good as new.The redtop engine is ment to be really strong and can put up with a lot so hopefully ill not have many problems, the only problem i have had with this car in the 3 yrs that ive had it has been the rusting on the arches and a the usual wear and tear like a ball joint gone (easy repairable jobs) especially when you have a boyfriend whos a mechanic comes in handy when your skint LOL.
These cars come in nice colours too and i have the blue one its a real nice darkish metalic blue.
Has an on board trip computer that tells you how many miles you got left in petrol and how much you are getting from your petrol depending on what speed your doing.
waited for 6 months to buy this car as i couldnt find any for sale at the time so i was tempted to get a sport which looks good but looks even better with a Gsi kit.
