Advantages: Very Fast, Leather Interior, 4 wheel drive

Disadvantages: Rare, High Insurance

Last year I bought the rare Cavalier Turbo 4x4. WHAT A CAR!!!! From the leather interior to the 220bhp engine it was excellent. I paid £3,600 for a K reg with 54,000 miles on a new engine but I do admit that I got a bargain. In 9 months of owning the car not once was I beaten from the traffic lights. A bit boy racer-ish I know but you cant help yourself in this car. The 0-60 is around 6 seconds which is very fast and it is capable of about 157mph although Vauxhall only say 152mph, I didn't do this speed in it but a friend who I borrowed it to did with 3 others in it. The interior is full leather and even though this model was around 8 years old the interior was in excellent condition. The seats are also heated. The cars are very rare and a few years back the police were using them to catch car theives, I don't think Vauxhall ever produced any but I think they were all made by Opel abroad and were never released in the UK. It also had a 4 wheel drive system which made it stick it the road like no tomorrow. All in all these cars arre absoloutley brilliant. But some little *?!~ decided to steal it even though it had 2 cat 1 immobilisers and an alarm on it. Now I'm on a Calibra which ain't too bad either.

Bloody toerags (stealing it). A Cat 1 Thatcham (Toad) plus immobiliser plus steering wheel clam lock is often what is needed (and still they will damage it trying to overcome the gizmos). hard life ...
