Good Car but problems on air control valves (Vauxhall Corsa Club 1.0i 12v 3-door)
Member Name: rks985
Advantages: Cheap and reliable Disadvantages: Do break down I had a 1 ltr corsa and it did me proud most of the time, it was economical on the petrol a tank used to last me 760miles and most of all it was a neat and clean car. The main problem I had with this car was the air control valve turned round and went wrong on me which in turn the corsa ECU closed down and the car became a kangaroo at times due to the lack of air to the engine. This fault I was told was common on the new type of corsa and the faul cost 129£ just for the part and then of course the diagnostic testings, however if you do need diagnostic testing go to a local backstreet garage which usually charge the first time but then turn round and give you a free re-set on the chip as a thank you for using them, infact the part is so simple to fit anyone could do it just unplug and go with the new fit. But they are good cars and good on wear and tear Summary: Good vehicles
