23rd September 2005 - Passed my driving test after learning for a year and half woops, cost my dad a fair bit!

1st October 2005 - Decided to buy a car....

I went to Arnold Clark and had a good look round and with the guidance of my parents :D decided to settle on the most BEAUTIFUL light blue corsa: 3 years old; 12,000 miles on the clock; cd player; taxed for 6 months and with the help of my dad knowing exactly how to finish a sale - managed to persuade the salesman to throw in a full tank of petrol. All for the nice little price of £3995 over 3 years and all out my bank account

FOR NEW DRIVERS
My little corsa didnt take long to settle in to. After a day or so driving about I felt confident and safe in my new vehicle. Steering easy, parking easy, gear changes easy peasy! I would recommend this car to new drivers, and especially new, young drivers. I was 18 when I started driving and paying for my corsa and found it fairly economical.

- Due to Corsas being popular little cars: parts are easy to come by so if you can get a hold of a half decent mechanic your looking at fairly cheap repairs.

- On average I have found that filling the petrol tank is around £40 and allows 400 miles. Perfect of your just scooting about!

OTHER FEATURES (I FIND IMPORTANT)

- Plenty of boot space: I can fit my nieces buggy in with plenty of room to spare

- Plenty of room in the back. I have found from being a passenger some 3 door cars have not very much room in the backseats. The corsa comfort can easily fit 3 people in the back without them being squashed or uncomfertable.

- Probably my favourite feature.....the heating!!! This car is brilliant in the winter, heats up sooo quickly!!

NEGATIVES

- Not so good in the summer, although it has electric windows which are obviously easy to use when driving, my corsa has no air conditioning and does heat up very quickly. Can be a bit of a sauna if the British weather surprises us and turns hot

Thats probably my only complaint!


CONCLUSION

In my opinion the Corsa is a cute, little car. An ideal first car or if you are planning to downsize your car in the current economic climate. I have found mine to be reliable, efficient, and keeps some pennies in my pocket as it is cheap to run! Nothing but good news about this little car :D

Final Thought - MINE WAS PAID OFF LAST MONTH YIPEEE!!! HA HA HAD TO ADD THAT IN!
