From just a mere three months of learning to drive my boyfriend past his driving test first time. After a few weeks of searching for the right car for him we both chose the new corsa comfort (2001/02) in nocturo blue. Within a month, we were excitedly heading down to or local Vauxhall dealer to pick up the new car. It was parked outside in all its glory and I have to say looked very impressive. The new corsa looks just like a smaller version of the ford focus so it is ideal for first time drivers but still looks stylish.

Even though the car is small, it has plenty of space inside. There is a lot of legroom for passengers sitting at the front and rear of the car. Additionally the seating at the back has three headrests, which makes a long journey so much more pleasurable. The interior of the car also has added benefits, which are very useful! These include a sunglasses holder, coin holder, map tray, hooks in the boot to hang up bags, drinks holders and not forgetting electric windows and the sun roof.

As standard the car is fitted with driver and passenger airbags plus an additional two, which come out of the driver and front passenger seating. The drivers seat is fully adjustable and even the steering wheel can be adjusted according to height.

Now of course the question you have all being waiting for me to answer is; "What is it like to drive?” Well the answer to that is "exceptional." The car has speed sensitive power steering (EPS), which makes it very easy to manoeuvre. The car is very nippy and a dream to drive.

The car is one of the most secure on the market. It has an immobiliser,central locking and dead locks fitted as standard. So the chance of it being stolen is not even possible. Which is very reassuring to know.

Fuel consumption is excellent considering how powerful the car is. The engine is very quiet which is an added bonus.
