Advantages: Small so easy to park
Disadvantages: Engine would overheat in traffic
This was the first car I had and it was a great little car while I had it.
The best thing about this car is that it's quite small which means its very easy to drive and even easier to park, yet its like the tardis as on the inside its big! I can easily fit 3 people in the back of this car and everyone was left with room to move the shoulders without being packed in their like sardines. The front also is nice and roomy and so when changing gear I wouldnt be knocking the person sitting next to me's elbow, which sometimes happend in other cars I've had.
The boot is also quite big, as I have used this when going on holiday and it comfortably held 2 big suitcases and fits easily a weeks worth of shopping.
What I had to get used to though was the big steering wheel that this car had as it means a bit more effort in to getting your car to turn but after a week of driving I was completly used to it.
The car is quite simple inside I had a cd player although I did by this myself and I think the car only actually comes with a tape player.
Its a very efficient car and even though it was about 11 years old by the time I had bought it it didnt gulop away at the petrol while I was driving.
The only problem I did have with this car was that if I ever got stuck in traffic then th engine would begin to over heat which meant the heaters had to be put on even if it was summer as otherwise the car would cut out. After taking this to various mechanics no one could figure out the problem. However this may have just been my car and not all corsas of this age.
Overall though it was a superb little run around and was a excellent first car to have.
Summary: Ideal first car
