Advantages: Good build quality and reliable.

Disadvantages: Paint faded on back panel.

I was lucky enough to get a brand new Corsa for my first car, 1.4 Vegas model on a P plate, and I drove it virtually every day for two years clocking up about 18k miles.

I was impressed by it's build quality which far suceeded the quality of the then Ford Fiesta which I have also driven. Not only was the build quality better but the car itself handled better and had a smoother ride.

There was one qualm with it though - the paint work. For some reason the paint on the rear quarter started to go bright green - the paint hadn't been put on a clean surface or something. Vauxhall kindly resprayed the panel under warranty. That was the only problem I ever had with it.
