I wouldnt recommend any other small car. (Vauxhall Corsa SRi 1.8i 16v 5-door)

Advantages: Performance, reliability, excellent value for money.

Disadvantages: High Insurance, High Tax. Some people may laugh at you!

The Corsa 1.8 SRi in my opinion is a very underrated car, but in a way thats part of the charm. No one really expects anything, so are always surprised.

I found the handling really quite surprising. Its really quite a nice ride, which makes you feel its no good when you push it, which really isn't the case, it holds itself really well round corners. The performance isn't bad too. 0-60 in just under 7 seconds.

For a small car its really quite roomy inside. I've taken 4 of my mates out in it plenty of times, though on a long journey it might get a bit squishy for them! The boot size is a bit restrictive, but for a normal weekly food shop its fine. Just don't expecting to fit a new TV in there.

I've been running this car for nearly 3 years and i've literally not had a single problem with it. Its bullet proof. Nothing feels really cheap on it either like some other small cars. Thats reflected in the weight, I think its about 300 kilos heavier than a saxo.

My corsa came with all the bits, full electrics, air-con, cruise control, and a 4 disc in-dash CD changer, which i thought was a neat idea.

I've seen one of these on trade-it.co.uk for £3000 for a 02 plate. This is great value for money. The only downside for me is the big tax for a little car, its in the highest tax bracket. Insurance is a little high too.

Overall I think its a great car for the money. But then thats why I bought one in the first place.

Summary: Better than any other small car out there, especially saxos.
