Generally speaking, a good car for the rep market. However, nowhere to put tapes etc in cockpit and the biggest problem is it goes through tyres like butter. Mine has done 60,000 miles and has had 10 replacement tyres. Brakes are spongy and pick up is crap. I would not go for another vectra against a Ford Mondeo. The fuel consumtion is good at about 45 mpg, but it coughs out black smoke out up a steep hill when in 5th gear, even after a recent service. The steering feels very unresponsive and I get the usual Vauxhall service engineer's spiel such as "There's nothing wrong mate !" especially after they have messed about for 2 days. I have had the turbo replaced twice. I am not a boy racer, I might add.
