I first bought my Vauxhall Vectra in November last year. I was a little cautious about buying a car with such a big engine as I am still only young and had been driving a ford fiesta for the previous 3 years. Unfortunately, my fiesta died and so it needed replacing as soon as possible.

A family friend told me about this car, I went to see it and fell in love straight away. I was lucky enough to get it at a bargain of £800. The best thing was that it was a diesel! Surprisingly the insurance isn't too high and its a very nippy car. I definately felt the difference after driving a ford fiesta. I also get around 500 or so miles to a full tank which is quite respectful of a 2 litre turbo diesel.

I have had the car for 5 months or so and it was the best decision I ever made, I can even fit people in the back of my car now. Which makes it a lot better when we go out with our friends and I'm playing Taxi driver.

The engine management light does come on quite often but nothing has fallen off it yet which is always a good thing
